Correct. I don't think we'll see the launch position until after testing in Mugello. Word is new sidepods possibly this weekend. All depends on how much track time the cars get. If it's raining most of the weekend, or most of FP's, I don't think we'll see them.FORZA FERRARI wrote:From the pics posted by windsor, we can see that the exhaust are not in the launch position, i mean, they dont point stroight out of the acer ducts, they seem to curve, kind of,,,

[typo corrected]So what i read between the lines is "INSECURITY". I don't know if they are in the right way or no but as a TIFOSO and not a aerodynamics expert I think the ACER duct are wrong. They are in the way of the airflow and my personal opinion is they should go with a different direction
The bulges under the Acer duct is the same.Mr.G wrote:This looks new for me. Shape of the floor and new bump near the exhauts internal trouting.
Yes all those parts/pieces are the same. If you have a look back through the pictures in this thread you can see they're the same.Nando wrote:The bulges under the Acer duct is the same.Mr.G wrote:This looks new for me. Shape of the floor and new bump near the exhauts internal trouting.
I´m not sure on the two other parts though but i would assume they are "old" as well.
I would think the exhausts are in the lowest position possible and they are sticking out the tops of the acer ducts already. so they could move the acer ducts further down but i dont think they can have the exhaust in them.MIKEY_! wrote:They could lower the acer ducts without compromising their cooling. That would get them clear of the beam wing and preserve the undercut.
