The McLarens were quicker through the lap in that last stint, but onto the straight, the McLaren lost out on traction. While it gained through the straight via better topspeed, by the time Lewis was up to Seb, Seb was braking into 1 already
And now that i think about it.
It can´t be DRS because you could not activate DRS until you were on the main straight.
I was talking about qualifying. The two Red Bulls were using KERS and opening DRS before the last corner.

entry-mid corner.
In the race - Hamilton could deploy KERS out of the last corner; but he kept using a lot of it on the pitstraight AFTER the startline, while Vettel just wasn't using it after the startline; saving it all for the last exit.
Here's a grab off one of the ending laps. You can see Vettel's KERS has a fully unused charge as he was saving it for the exit of the last chicane, while Hamilton has used around 40% of his. His DRS is open as you can see - which means it's after the startline.
Here's a shot of the end of the lap immediately preceding this - as you can see Hamilton's used up half his charge earlier in the lap, and so only had half left to catapult him into the straight.
Hamilton was using about 50% on either side of the startline, while Vettel just saved it all for the last corner.
