Yes it was a busy test..

Renault also ran larger cascades on the front wing endplates (FWEP), and some different front and rear wing flaps.

BMW ran shoulder fins like Hondas and revised FWEPs

Torro Rosso ran cascades on their FWEPs and a Ferrari like rear wheel fairings.

You'll see alot of this stuff in Germany this weekend....

The only reason I can think of to attach the upper flaps to the nose cone is to add some degree of flexiblity. It seems like they are playing the ferrari game here, because such a thin section of carbon cannot be more rigid than the previous solution that Renault had. At least Renault are responding before it's too late.
I love to love Senna.

I dont like all these ugly little winglets that the teams are adding on to the car. The car looks nicer without them, like Mclaren.

Maybe FIA should ban all these additional winglets.

The 1st element on the front wing is ferrari-esque, but look how it blends to the 2nd element, it has a much smoother curvature to its LE in the central section.

Let me brag a little bit

I've seen it about a week ago and gave Tomba a hint so it was already in F1technical development blog 20th July
