Finishing races is important, but racing is more important.

Even if Hamilton qualifies pole, he needs to have decent pitcrew/stop to win the race!

And because of...well because the 1st garage is so close to the pit exit - it's a disadvantage to the WCC team, because the car's don't even hit the pit limiter before it hits pit exit. So the limiter doesn't even get engaged when the driver leaves the pits. This speed disadvantage is carried through the long flat-out left hander into Village.
The top 3 teams will be in the middle of the pit complex this year following the complaints about their invisibility in 2011. I guess we know who will probably occupy the last 3 garages this year.

BBC Weather for Towcester: Outlook for Friday to Sunday
Slow moving heavy and thundery showers on Friday. On Saturday and Sunday, further rain or showers, although perhaps some drier spells. Feeling warm in any sunshine.

Like I mentioned earlier, my money is on Webber for the win (literally). I do think Hamilton will be on pole though, absent changeable q3 weather

If a dry quali and/or race, then,
Quali:
1. HAM
2. VET
3. ALO
Race:
1. HAM
2. ALO
3. GRO/VET

Wet quali and/or race?
Quali:
1. HAM
2. ALO
3. VET/WEB
Race:
1. VET/ALO
2. ALO/VET/HAM
3. HAM/ALO/MSC

I don't see any new winner here... We might see a second two-time winner this yr... And my guess is that Silverstone will mark the beginning of a stable set of front runners... Raikkonen, Grosjean, Perez, Massa, DiResta, Maldo - Some of these might win a race here or there.. But otherwise, they'll be just in higher positions... Time for Redbull, Ferrari and McLaren to occupy the top 3 finishes more consistently...

Personally I'm hoping for a first time 3-race-winner :D

Btw, my very first post here... :)
Finishing second is being the first one of losers....

I find it interesting that most people have put Hamilton lower in the race than qualifying if it's wet... Remember, this is the place that Hamilton overtook a large chunk of the grid in half a wet lap last year.

You're crackers trying to predict anything! The weather is going to dominate the weekend and of you go off the last wet race- Ferrari and sauber look good! Mclaren on the other hand might struggle.

It's all about tyres, tyres, tyres!

Looks like its goin to be another 'fasinating' and 'intreging' Formula Pirelli race
Just a fan's point of view

Hi Bob,

As for me, I did consider that fact Hamilton mowed the field down in wet last year but I don't think he has done it everytime.. Or even most times... Consistently in wet... (Just my opinion... I can't recall his past records right now... I could be wrong..).. Vettel, came into limelight with a couple of great performances in Wet races that projected him as a wet race specialist - 2007 Suzuka, His first win - 2008 Monza are those I can recall.... I somehow see Vettel better than Hamilton in wet... And Alonso - as always a master...
Finishing second is being the first one of losers....

It may not be due to his driving...but more or less the teams strategy...or the pit stop mayhem...
