Exactly :D

Honest question: Because RicME seems so skeptical on my cars performance and on FSketch's means of judging the car here is the question:

Who's current car is better? Mine or RicME's? I'm not proving anything and I don't know who's is better. And of course whatever you say I will accept. Totally out of curiosity. And I mean RicME's car, not the one he bought of Andy.

Why are you working with Richard?

Hi Monster, I skipped lightly over all the commentary.
Your understanding of primitive shape drafting is bang on good, i bet your good at 2d cad.
The next step of 3d is a big one and not very easy, 3d spline construction to generate lofts, swept faces and so on.

Start with simple surfaces, these become like construction lines that you throw away or hide on another level.
Then project onto your donor sufaces your 2d curves or surface edge curves.
Then break up the first 6 or 8 mm up into .5 segments (the project curve), delete the excess.
Select manual spline, switch 2d to 3d and 'weave' onto your 6 or so mm.
After youve 'woven' it, there is your edge/drive/cross section curve.
Not easy, big learning curve, but fun.\\

Best of luck, keep it up.

Not sour grapes at all. If someone like Nick said this then you would just go along with it and smile.

Sure about that?
Obviously not paid much attention to the other page where I asked about the witch hunt after Nick posted a pic of the i12.

I was quoting a later bit but whatever. Point remains. You shouldn't be using innovo parts.

[...] I am not using Innovo parts as I havent submitted a new car for a long time, nothing FS has from me has anything whatsoever to do with Innovo on the car.
Like Ive already said, I cant run i12 parts whilst the i12 is still in the competition.
After Andy leaves I can use any of the Innovo parts that I now own.

I didn't insult. Just stated a fact which Richard doesn't like.

[...] IMO I could run that car anyway as no one piece has come off the i12 and been placed on my car 1:1. In that render the front wing uses a small part of the i12 front wing, even so it has been worked into my own design, the suspension has also had to be modified to fit the car and the sidepods, I think even you can see that they are significantly different to the i12's.

[...] Once again Formula Sketch has been shown up poorly on these forums, I really wouldnt be surprised if the mods purged everything FS related and banned any future discussion.

Jesus, at one point I even said that you took parts of the i12 and then modified them you denied it.

And i meant those long things next to the sidepods. Forgot what you call them but they are 100% i12 ones. The slot in the side gives it away.

How has FS shown up poorly? You are part of it and you are constantly bad mouthing it. What's wrong with you?

Edit: To be fair your car started of poorly like mine, but now you have developed it into something superb which gets into the points almost every time now. Don't ruin it by using other parts :D
