Very "interesting" development though - Lotus definitely used the correct word when describing it! This team, throughout its different incarnations, have always been innovators, and it's continuing here.
If skyf1 do have any idea about it, then I am confused, because they say its passive, although Lotus had said earlier it was working with the DRS system, I still believe it is for increased downforce from the diffuser, and then the drag generated by that system is lost on top the beam wing cover when DRS is opened, we will be able to tell what it does at Monza, if its there at Monza our theory is wrong, if its not there at Monza, we are correct
