What do you think of the prospect of a USGP 2012 at Austin Texas

Good thinking. Place has good infra structure and nice climate in winter.

sick turn 1, indeed. pretty sick circuit overall. maybe a bit dangerous for all the danger mice.
Finishing races is important, but racing is more important.

I sense a lot of KERS being used here... :P
If someone said to me that you can have three wishes, my first would have been to get into racing, my second to be in Formula 1, my third to drive for Ferrari.

I hope the DRS zone is on the main straight and not down the back one

Last I heard, which was a loooong time ago, they were favoring 2 DRS zones here (front straight and back straight).

One of our FB followers found this "First Lap" video & posted it on the page. Only problem is that it's excruciatingly slow.

So Vance sped it up a bit. LOL.

Can't remember the exact date. They originally said 90 days out from the race, which would be ~Aug 18. It was changed to 60 days, so ~Sep 17.

So the 60-day inspection is something like 53 days from the race...
