Well, that would be quite an old engine in that car on friday free practice, so I am not worried very much.

As for Maldonado, on SkySports they report that it is suspected hydraulic failure

Maldonado's DRS remained open, so that could be the problem.
"...and there, very much in flames, is Jacques Laffite's Ligier. That's obviously a turbo blaze, and of course, Laffite will be able to see that conflagration in his mirrors... he is coolly parking the car somewhere safe." Murray Walker, San Marino 1985

Red Bull are struggling a lot , they used to relie on huge downforce but it's not the case now with the EBD gone ! And Wassup with all those FIA guys in RB's garage , have they found annother "illegal" trick :?
Mercedes are In along with Mclaren and Ferrari , it wouldn't be a surprise if Mercedes gets a pole indeed I expect them to be at least on the 2 front rows
I hope everything is fine for Fernando :s

We gonna witness a pole from RB no worries!
And in the race with the skinniest RW they just gonna fly away from everyone... just like last year!

Schumacher tops FP1. Reason for hope or too early to tell?

It's obvious that in this circuit we have reasons for hope. W03 has the best motor and the DDRS. The car will suit better in Monza than another circuit. Michael can get his first win of the comeback!

They have repaired it, so they won't get any grid penalties.

It's a different story this year for RB. Last year they could run the skinniest RW but still manage to maintain an impressive cornering speed is due to the benefit from the EBD but this year due to the clampdown on EBD you can clearly see that they are struggling for grip.

A great start from the team! But it will be a little bit better to improve their time in S2 as I predict the weekend will not be as straight foward as in practice as McLaren is currently running on a short gear 7 which i expect they will change them before FP2 . Anyway I'm expecting a decent weekend from the team due to the nature of the track which suits the characteristics of the car or probably even challenging for the front row!

If it is a engine and it is terminal, is that the race engine they are using for weekend?
