HRT have got enough problems managing the cooling on this year's car. In fact I would not be surprised if they thought they could get away without implementing KERS next year.C_Stonehouse wrote:Marussia are running KERS next year; Are we expecting HRT to implement the system in the Singapore update?

Engines turned up for Monza perhaps?Jackles-UK wrote:Wow!! I know HRT are on a tight budget but maybe they should have stretched to that 4 feet of heat-shielding!
The lower side-crashbox? AFAIK, all teams have them hidden in their floor so it is "ordinary low".techF1LES wrote:Isn't the lower side impact protection beam positioned little bit "extraordinary low"?
Zircotech is not that expensive, especially on a simple panel.Petroltorque wrote:Zircotek are a company that provides heat resistant coatings. The cooked area just looks like ill fitting carbon fibre.
The problem for HRT is the quality of their platform. They can't aford expensive technology but I'd expect a design without flaws in packaging leading to overheating and effective suspension layout allowing enough adjustment to keep tyres in the temperature window. After all the car design is down to the quality of the designer and his ideas.
Not sure what hurts my eyes the most; the cooked carbon panel or the finish of that welding job. Frankly, I've seen bicycle frames with better finish than that.techF1LES wrote:http://www.formula1.com/wi/0x0/sutton/2 ... ta1146.jpg
