Vettel ran wider than he needed to.

It was a stupid move on his part as is...and will be even more so if he gets any sort of penalty out of it. Although I doubt he will get anything beyond a warning at worst.

He did? He was bang on the racing line as far as I'm concerned.

He wasn't. He moved left as soon as Alonso pulled along side of him.

If you look at their clash in the same spot last year, Alonso didn't move over the way Vettel did. He left him enough room, Vettel chose to run a little wide last year. Plus he still had 2 wheels on the track. Alonso had to go 4 off because Vettel shoved him off.
