Not true. You have to leave a car width when returning to the racing line. Vettel never left the racing line.

Yep, finally someone gets that rule right. Plus, the rule he was penalised under was rule 16.1, not 23. 16.1 bans forcing another driver off track. Alonso could at all points have been on track (defined as having at least one wheel on or inside the white line). Because of that, I don't believe Vettel should have been penalised.

the rule is not for situations like that, VET was on the racing line, ALO just wanted to push trough... when space ran out.
Ridiculous penalty.
Finishing races is important, but racing is more important.

The head of Stewards this weekend is the FIA President Jean Todt...let me know how you go going toe to toe against king bureaucrat
If someone said to me that you can have three wishes, my first would have been to get into racing, my second to be in Formula 1, my third to drive for Ferrari.

That's the tiffosi for them – that's why I always wondered why everyone called them the best fans.
They're Italians. Everything Italian is the best according to an Italian. If Ferrari get's beat, its because of some great conspiracy. Of course I'm generalising, but having spent time in Italy...there are 4 things you dont mess with.... Their pasta, Mama, Fashion and Ferrari.

Lorenzo is correct. After the Hamilton-Rosberg incident in Bahrain, a clarification was made that you have to leave room for a driver if he gets alongside you.

Not to be rude...but I find your comment offensive.

Generalising a race/culture is a big no no...especially on this forum.

Some astute soul on another forum remarked that the top 3 today are all guys who were taken out by Grosjean last week.
