He's everywhere hahaa.
They failed to capitalise when they had better car. The fact that Lewis is only 20 points ahead of Button says everything. They screwed Lewis' season.GrizzleBoy wrote:McLaren have come apart tbh.example wrote:You see Mclaren what happens when you are 100% behind your driver. Jokers.
Its a good view of next year though.
Their new "rookie" has trouble when not starting outside the top ten on fresh tyres and Button is fast, but not really.
It doesn't look so good now. I think the main worry is that we are slower than Red Bull. With normal dry races, they will probably beat us.clipsy1H wrote:
but Good Job he did well today... i'm so *%$#$#@$ sad for ALonso
Nothing is guaranteed...but if you build the best car, you should have the best chance to win.Hail22 wrote:So that would mean its another guaranteed championship to Red Bull...... :/GrizzleBoy wrote:McLaren have come apart tbh.example wrote:You see Mclaren what happens when you are 100% behind your driver. Grand Chelem means a race where 1 driver gets pole, win, is always P1 and gets fastest lap. He did today and in India last year. The last one before that was Alonso in Singapore 2010, and before that, Hungary 2004 to Schumacher. Grand Chelem is nothing to do with competition - it's about dominance over a grand prix.Hail22 wrote:raymondu999 wrote:Fantastic drives by Webber, Massa, and Schumacher. Kokoba - great drive too, and absolutely chuffed for him.
Vettel - awesome drive. Congrats on his second Grand Chelem result.
I don't see how Vettels win was a grand slam? there was no competition.
You mean banzai, surely?Hail22 wrote:Must be the petrol fumes...or he already started on the warm Saki *Bonzai!*
Surely that means it has EVERYHING to do with competiton. As to complete such a weekend, this season it has only happened because the competition has screwed up. Alonso, Webber, both Mclarens all had bad weekends. Meaning Seb has led everything other than Free Practice.raymondu999 wrote:Grand Chelem means a race where 1 driver gets pole, win, is always P1 and gets fastest lap. yeas, but how did it happen, why was webber there so slow and Grosjean so fast (Grosjean didn't look out of control). Did look like a racing incident to me.GrizzleBoy wrote:Webber on his crash: "Yeah, the team confirmed it was that first corner nut case" lol.
You have to love him in his interviews!GrizzleBoy wrote:Webber on his crash: "Yeah, the team confirmed it was that first corner nut case" lol.
As in, it doesn't have anything to do with how competitive a race was. The F1 Grand Chelem (an actual statistic) is merely about how comprehensively a driver dominates a weekend. It doesn't matter if it was done like Singapore 2010 where P1 and P2 were never more than 5 tenths apart, or if it happened with only 3 cars in the race.NathanOlder wrote:Surely that means it has EVERYHING to do with competiton. I'm actually quite fearful that he might end up fading from championship contention, similar to Hamilton in 2010.FLuidd wrote:Suzuka is the beginning of the end for Alonso.
Goodbye.

It's basically a checklist - complete the checklist, you have the grand chelem.
Yeah, in this instance, I'm not really buying into the whole "Grrr Grosjean" thing.FrukostScones wrote:yeas, but how did it happen, why was webber there so slow and Grosjean so fast (Grosjean didn't look out of control). I think Perez touched with Webber, Webber swerved and lifted a bit and Grosjean had no where to go.
