I dare anyone to jump into a Caterham and complain that its to easy to beat AI.
Season challenge hard, Caterham, qauli 12th, finish 1st. Do two races then take massa's seat at ferrari = the game is broken. at monza you can put in a 1:23-24 with a macca or a williams, or a caterham so long as you pick the same setup bracket.

On the Xbox 360you'll have 800g within about 2 days, it is a joke.

Did you actually change the driver AI settings to legendary?

They must have made it significantly worse than 2010 or 2011 then, because those would rape you off the line if you got that much wheel spin.

Yep that is true, in 2011 and 2010 on legendary difficulty you could only keep up with the pack off the line if you turned TC off. In 2012, when you turn TC off you spin in the top end of first gear for what seems an eternity and then just start breezing past them with KERS and rich mix mode... i do this for every race, it is really backwards. F1 2010 was good, 2011 easier, and then this... 9 attempts to complete the 7 challenges on the hard setting including the monza one you see in the video... this game lasted me about 5 days and i just cannot bare to touch it again.

Yes, otherwise the achievements to make up the 800G would not be there. The cars make seemingly no difference, granted they feel different (?the ferrari feels wondeful) but lap times are pretty much always the same, otherwise we would see Double DRS on the MERC be the one where the time trail top laps are set. but no, force indias, macca's, williams, they are all there.

Now this was the most complete F1 Game:

F1 world grand prix 64:

Released in 1998 it had:

Car setup:
Fuel
Tyres
Wing angles
ride height
compound selections

Damage
Fuel consumption
Weather simulation
pit stops.

It had 5 game modes, and a multiplayer mode too.
Challenge mode accurately replicated events of the 1997 season, like wheels falling off and the player having to drive the car back to the pits.
There were so many challenges and if you beat them all on hard you unlocked more modes.

The challenges were not only fun, they gave you great depth of info into F1, like tyre manufacturers, how each different compound affected your car at different stints and temperatures.
Gearbox failures happened where the player would lose gears.

In 2012 codemasters come out with a game that has piddly little challenges that have no real relevance at all to the 2012 season or any prior to that.
The damage models are very similar between to two games, as is the physics when two cars collide, very wooden and very poor.

I just used to love downshifting and being carefull not to overheat the engine, lose a gear or blow everything, such a good game. F1 2012 offers less in every way except graphics. Save your money.

Seeing so many F1 fans here i´m surprised there´s not a F1 Technical league with a game like iRacing or Rfactor.

Using telemetry and building setups seems like a dream for most people here who see the world like this ;)

Well you'd think they have to add something new, I have no intention of going near it otherwise. Adding Donington '93, Monaco '96, that sort of race would be a good start.

I'd still rather race the Paris-Dakar trucks in DIRT though.

Id love historic races in the next game as they get boring after a while, 2013 especially as there will be no new tracks and very little change in the pecking order. good move code masters =D>

http://www.gamerzines.com/playstation/c ... rical.html He very strongly hinted towards it and it just makes sense. Like others said, No new tracks, minor changes in the cars is all that would be different so it makes sense. IM excited. Hope they say more at e3 :D

they need to do some big change somewhere. Otherwise its just cosmetic changes. Hopefully they get FFB spot on this year as i think that largely effects how the physics come across. Its ok the physics doing one thing, but if thats not transpired to the feel then it doesn't mean much

after the patch for 2012, it seemed to ruin the ffb (at least on the g25 anyway)
