Just completely off-pace in FP2....

Then as we follow Hamilton on track, they switch to Titmarsh and he sits there smiling then when he realizes he´s on TV he suddenly stops smiling not knowing what to do.

I don´t know....i smell something fishy going on at Mclaren. Just look at his pace after the announcement, 8 or 9th in Suzuka.
Here FP1 quickest but in FP2 no improvement at all and in the mid-field.

On a side note, anyone saw the sparks off the Lotus shot from behind? Coolest thing i´ve seen, it was so slow mo you could see these small "light-balls" interact with the airflow, just amazing to watch.

Quick one from Hamilton interview at F1.com

Q: When you say that the set-up changes did not deliver, is there anything in particular that did not go as planned?
LH: Not really something particular, just the whole change. But don’t get me wrong - the first session was fantastic and it will be up to us to find out what change in set-up caused the setback.

And the odd one..just from what i saw he looked like he was the slowest on high fuel in FP2.

Q: Sebastian Vettel said that your long runs looked pretty competitive…
LH: I hope he’s right, (laughs) as I haven’t done much of it.

FP3
Both McLaren cars will use new floor + splitter (the one that was on Hamilton's car yesterday) - Sky
Both RB will use sidepods solution tested by Webber yesterday - BBC
Gary Anderson
"On Friday, Sebastian Vettel and Mark Webber ran with two different sidepod styles, where it runs down into the coke-bottle area at the rear of the car. Vettel's had more of a hole in it to help with airflow into the diffuser. But they both have gone to Webber's version, which I think is the latest one. It will help their new 'double DRS' wing. McLaren ran two different floor assemblies and have both now gone to the Hamilton spec as they did in Suzuka last week."

A bit off topic but why doesn't the grass in this track look light green even if not these is no maintainance near the corners so if one runs off a bit there is just too much dust being lifted than any other circuit (even more than Bahrain which has cement than grass).

I like this circuit but the pit exit is very dangerous (an accident is waiting to happen) I liked the exit of the Korea circuit is Codemaster's F1 2010 game from a safety point of view.

Barring any technical difficulties, I expect Vettel to take pole.

Good Lord. How on earth is he managing that last sector, with the first sector not being off the pace!? :wtf:

I'd have expected anyone hot in S3 to be cold in S1.
