Also what times FP1 in uk?
You realise the session times section of formula1.com has a "convert to my time zone" button, right?
I know always seams wrong when i use the convert

Says practice starts at 7.00am. so they must be doing practice now? but on skysports say practice starts at 2.30pm ... the website is a joke.

My time is correct on pc

Make sure your computers time zone is set correctly, I had the same problem until I realised my laptops time was set in the wrong time zone

adam - If your computer shows practice starting at 7am then your computer thinks you are on the Pacific coast of the USA and Canada.

If you are using windows, right click on the clock in the bottom right corner, then click "Adjust date/time". Is the timezone correct? If you are in the UK it should say "(UTC) Dublin, Edinburgh, Lisbon, London".

Just a quick question. I have a feeling that the start of the race could be very interesting due to the hill up to turn 1. reason being is that those behind will have a much better run up before hitting the hill and trying to accelerate up it. I know that it a road car the affect would be massive as to the speed you can reach from starting on the hill compared to taking a run up to the hill. Will F1 cars be affected in the same way? or will it make no difference to them?

The BBC are probably rooting for Alonso this weekend.

It would be embarrassing for them if they missed the inaugural Austin GP, the WCC decider AND the WDC decider in one go.

Q: (Jim Vertuno - Associated Press) Sebastian and any other driver, what do you make of the request for drivers to clean up their language a little bit post-race and do you see that as an attempt to appease an American audience that might be a little sensitive to that sort of thing?
SV: I think if you're sensitive you should watch - I don't know - some kids' programme. You have the remote control in your hand, so you can choose......

trouble is people don't tune in to F1 expecting to hear his potty mouth

[put in here as it was us gp conference, rant over]
That was unbelievably stupid answer considering that they're trying to promote F1 in the USA market.

Yeah, tell everyone to change the channel, good idea...

People from the US are not particularly sensitive to cursing. Shitt I love to curse.
“To be able to actually make something is awfully nice”
Bruce McLaren on building his first McLaren racecars, 1970

“I've got to be careful what I say, but possibly to probably Juan would have had a bigger go”
Sir Frank Williams after the 2003 Canadian GP, where Ralf hesitated to pass brother M. Schumacher
