Just got confirmation that everyone was running the harder compound tyre. so vettel's lap time has got nothing to do with tyre compound

someone mentioned that he use his 1st set for aero test, and 2nd sets for long runs and then the 1st set again for his final run. Perhaps that explain why there are flo vis on vettel tyres towards the end of the session.

McLaren's Paddy Lowe says Jenson Button was "rallying" in P1. "Shocking" lack of grip. Also, Vettel time set on new tyres.

Vettel's tires at the end had only done the installation lap

Most of them ran wide at T19 multiple times! Also, the Istanbul style T16-18 is not that spectacular as of now, let's hope it becomes better as the weekend progresses. Also, is T1 the second best place to pass after T12? Weird uphill roller-coaster style corner!

FP2 - Vettel pitted due to possible water leak on his car. Team is checking the cooling system. Webber had water leak in FP1

It looks to me that they are sliding like crazy, I don't think someone really pushed the car until now because of the (lack of) grip. Kind of strange.

Why did Kimi stopped in the pit lane at the end of FP1?

Looks OK to me - I always like new tracks but it is pretty sterile..

As we always allude to - it is far too easy to make a mistake.

Please bring back a risk to the pushing...just a small risk of breaking the car, ruining the tyres, being delayed even!

KERS issues perhaps for Vettel? It's not exactly unheard of in the Red Bull... or a water leak. At the end of FP1, Webber had fluid leaking from the sidepod of his car... :?
