As we always allude to - it is far too easy to make a mistake.

Please bring back a risk to the pushing...just a small risk of breaking the car, ruining the tyres, being delayed even!
I agree. In general i find tracks nowadays quite boring because of the tarmac runoffs. Thank god F1 didn't go to one of more traditional tracks in US because the FIA would have ruined them with these ridiculous parking lots.

Is Pirelli scared? Once again the tire choices are very very conservative.

So Vettel is gonna win... unless something goes wrong with his car.

so, it seems that if you go even a little bit to the outside of T1,it's very very slippery... I predict chaos in T1 on the start... :D It will rubber in a bit, but non the less...

I had a thought while watching practice:

What if Vettel pulls a Mansell/Collins and takes Webber's car? That would be the dumbest, rudest, most ridiculous thing imaginable for the sake of the WDC. Then, I thought: Oh wait, Red Bull.

I'm thinking Red Bull 1-2 for Sunday.

If Vettel wins, I think it's in the bag for him. If Alonso wins, and it rains in Brazil.... IT'S GONNA BE BRILLIANT.

UPDATE: Maldonado's car has small fire in pit lane.... fire in exhaust sytem

Not really in IMO. It's much steeper than the turn 1 at A1 ring and I guess tighter also. It's a complete blind spot for drivers when it comes to judging the braking points.

RB still is the fastest car on the grid. May be on race pace wise they are a bit closer to McLaren. Ferrari, as always and as usual, seems to be the 3rd fastest car as of now. I wonder what must be going through Alonso's mind right now.

Just like I've said. RedBull will be strong at this track!

Only hope for Alonso is if Vettel has an engine blow up mid race and Alonso wins the race, sadly.

It is quite sad, an unfair contest some would say. Vettel has been, well, Vettel. Mightily impressive when leading out from the front.
But Alonso is a tenacious son of a gun, and this bloke has gone some way to turning critics into advocates. Me being exhibit A.

The first time I saw it, it reminds me of Laguna Seca corkscrew corner
