Lewis showing how fast he is. There is NO WAY that Mclaren is only a tenth of a second slower than the Red Bull.

I don't know how reliable these are however.
Reliable as it seems to come from vivaf1.com, but: it only shows how many engine have been used, not which engine is mounted on each race.

edit: BTW, all drivers who haven't already mounted their 8th engine, did it at Austin. They told it on Skysports this afternoon

Even after qualifying 8th and literally thrashed by Vettel, Alonso still doesn't refrain from making such statements.

Of course he'd say that though. What did you expect him to say?

Knowing him, he'll probably makes up about three positions by turn one and Felipe will be backing up the other cars in front of him for some nice DRS action.

Alonso talks to the media but i's Vettel who does the job were it matters...on track!

There is a difference between saying,"we would give our best and try to score maximum points" and "I still think I can outscore Vettel". At least it sounds very over optimistic to me. But I guess that's what separates Kimi from the rest!!

I don't believe engine numbers any more. I've read and heard that Vettel used his 8th engine in India first, in Abu Dhabi first, and I've also read that he had used his 9th engine in Abu Dhabi. I wouldn't be surprised if someone wrote he used a combustion turbine ...

He has to motivate his team some how.

The first lap will certainly be tricky in the race tomorrow, given the low grip, and the difficulty in getting the tires to temperature, there might be an incident in turn one or somewhere in sector 3

Additionally we don't know how much advantage the RB8 gets from it's DRS in qualifying, it could be a very different in the race. Furthermore, I don't believe that the race will be a comfortable one stop, it will be a marginal one stop, as the mediums will not last to the half way point. The hards could possibly ride out the whole race, but not the mediums.
