So - do any of you think any of the title contenders will gamble on a wet setup? Or gamble on a dry setup? Depending on the climactic conditions.

Will RBR fear getting stuck behind cars, and gear Vettel for an overtake-friendly setup?

Not under normal conditions. The effect of running the wrong set up will be devastating considering how close the races are fought in this era.

Only if they are sure he has to start well behind. Under normal conditions they will try to get him into clean air at the front. Even a faster McLaren cannot hurt them as long as Alonso's Ferrari is behind. If the qualifying is botched by rain and Alonso lucks into the lead they could probably play such a game though.

Ferrari will do what they've been doing all year - run the percentage play and hope for others misfortune.
Red Bull will go for pole, front row lock out, fastest lap time, the win and a one two across the line.

This is how've they both have played all year. How it actually plays out though....can't wait to watch.

Are you forgetting parc ferme WB? These are decisions they have to make before qualifying - or start in the pitlane

IMO Vettel should take a leaf out of Massa's book. Stick it on pole - and win the race. From then on, que sera sera...

At this stage of the season, knowing WDC is at stake.

I think contender teams will take every precaution, cause everyone will be so tense, and the slightest mistake could lead to one another.
I remember Ron spent lots of bucks pre-Interlagos 2008 to ensure reliability of H.A.M's engine.(cmiiw)

Anyone know whether teams has consider something like psychic insight, anti-rain dance/rain dance, etc?

Webber is also known to be quite good at Interlagos, will we see the #2 drivers duking it out to give their respective teams' WDC contenders the best advantage during the race? :!:

I would say yes, but only on the condition that Webber's car doesn't die again.

I want to know if the teams will do anything like 2006 with the Thank You Michael messages on their cars this time?
