I agree. He knows the speed difference from the HRT to his car. And he knows the racing line which the HRT used. The HRT driver was on a fast lap and he has not to leave Grosjean pass. I'm asking myself why it always happens to Grosjean. Grosjean had to anticipate that the HRT will move over because it is the race line.AnthonyG wrote:I think it's Grosjean's fault, he should know better then to go on the inside in such a highspeed corner.stefan_ wrote:Any news about the decision for the sHitRT / Grosjean incident?
They make it all the time. Usually at the end of a round of qualifying, but they've all been pulled in from time to time in the middle of qualifying. Thing is we only get to hear about / see those who get it wrong.AnthonyG wrote:Shouldn't the FIA reconsider it's weighing procedures?
I think in the last 4 years I've only seen 1 driver actually making the weigh. (Nakajima I think)
I mean making, not failing.myurr wrote:They make it all the time. Usually at the end of a round of qualifying, but they've all been pulled in from time to time in the middle of qualifying. Edit: If by "making the weigh" you mean failing the weigh, then that is a moot point. The tests are there for a reason, and it is right for the FIA to test the cars frequently and thoroughly. How else do you enforce the rules.
No, Vettel screwed up his first timed lap in Q3 (his banker). Therefore he had to be conservative on his last timed lap, cause another mistake would leave him 8th or something :pf1316 wrote:Anyway, I have the suspicion that Vettel compromised his set-up a little compared to Webber, just to cover off the chance of rain. It explains why Webber, who looked much slower than Vettel in Q1, was suddenly faster. I think Vettel knew he could still beat Alonso in qualifying, even with a bit of compromise.
I think it's the former rather than the latter. The RB7 was designed well around the EBD. Others just coppied their design but looking back it's obvious they never could make it work as well as RB did - and Red Bull most certainly could not regain most of what was offered by their own 2011 design.LionKing wrote:
So Red Bull has lost about 0.66 seconds compared to Mclaren's 0.18 seconds. That means McLaren developed relatively more (or regressed less) compared to RBR under current regulations.
He went down the inside at Spa this year...raymondu999 wrote:Does anyone remember the last time Alonso went for the inside line at turn 1 at the start of a grand prix? He seems to have developed a preference for going around the outside lately.
ferrari weren't that bad, alonso had a poor session again, dont get me wrong alonso's been impressive this year, but he's not been in god mode like many have made out.Chuckjr wrote:Great job Macca. Really well done. Shame you waited till it was too late to win it all. Fighting for first loser is nothing to be proud of - as every great driver has said repeatedly through history.
Ferrari, wow and wtf. Seriously.
Was it just me or in post race interview did you get the sense that Lewis was thinking, "omg, why did I leave this team..."

While out of town for Thanksgiving we had our house fumigated and I just found out that the cable is down. So no phone, tv and internet until 12pm PST tomorrow. The race is at 8am here.
We have a mi-fi transceiver that I can use for internet and a Verizon FiOS subscription. I have been trying to find out if I can watch the race live online, but Verizon's and SpeedTV's sites are unclear as to whether or not that is possible.
Can anybody PLEASE tell me how I can watch the Brazil GP? I have not missed a single race this year and would hate to miss out on the grand finale.
Thanks.
