Wow u Alonso lovers are sore losers!! I think u have to give credit where credit is due. Mark webber has had the exact same car as vettel for the last three years and he hasnt won his first wdc yet.

Not sure if this was directed at me...if so I've never said I'm an Alonso fan, not that you would know having joined today! For the record I would have preferred to see Alonso win it because I think he's driven a great season and Ferrari have done well to turn their dog into a challenger. Congrats to Seb, he finished with the most points therefore he deserves it...simple as that in my book.

If the lights were for slippery track than great, no problem there but the broadcast I watched called them yellows and never clarified. We all know Webber and Seb have not had the same cars for the past 3 years but that's digressing. I reckon the board should ban people like you that sign up just to clog threads and yell and scream...and you is spelt with 3 letters. Why are people still obsessing about it Red Bull have won and there is NO penalty Vettel was not doing anything wrong and you cannot say todays performance was luck another drive from the back of the grid!!! a champions drive!!

Crashing into another driver yet again when actually having to do some racing and getting unbelievably lucky that there was no suspension front wing damage at least on the car.

Then he had the torro rosso help him by refusing to overtake when Riccardo was faster.

Schumacher just jumped out of the way and gave up position, something i havent seen him do since his comeback...

Now now Cylinder, Torro Rosso wouldnt of overtook but they didnt have the pace it was Sennas fault he crashed and i admit Schumi gave him the position but even if he didnt Vettel would still be champion so all in all Vettel was the drive of the day for me

I really don't know where people get this from.

The kid got exposed for the 1 millionth time now when he is not on pole, he's class driver, but he's well dodgy in the midfield.

He turned in on senna today and it was a miracle he was still in the race after that.

Mid way through the race as the track was drying he had no pace, luckily he had a torro rosso refusing to pass him.
All this in the second fastest car on the grid......

Sorry, 3 times world champion, congrats for that, but the 3rd best driver in the sport behind hamilton and alonso.

Whilst the Brazilian GP 2012 race thread is closed I think there still is enough analysis to do regarding the developing of the race. I (and maybe others, too) would like to leave the "who deserves" question out and concentrate on the race as there were more than two drivers in it.

First of all it was thriller, whether we liked it or not. It had much to do with the right tyre decision at some point. However, the Safety Car took any advantage away timewise. So how did strategies pan out?
Second how can we evaluate car potentials in damp conditions along with driver performance?
And third how has the race management done its job?

So stay objective and base on facts, please.

Shame Hulk couldn't be winner number 9 for the season - without the safety car he looked like a real chance - it would have been out of him and Button as the others had all stopped twice.
Has he shone in the wet in other races (apart from Brazil) or is he a wet Interlagos specialist?

Because 'most deserved' has no real meaning , is subjective, and is open to the opinions amongst a huge set of wildly biased observers.

I fail to see how a rational person can believe in religion, or trust a politician, but many millions (billions) of people do.

VET, ALO and HAM all 'deserved' it, depending on how you look at it.
MAS, WEB and BUT clearly didn't. That's about all you can say.

Look and here we go. Because honestly, Hamilton was robbed from at least 120 championship points, out of his fault. If there is one driver who then deserved it was him.

like mdvinnie said; it has no real meaning. it is an opinion. you might say Alonso, but I'd say Hamilton. and therefore an discussion with it is not possible because it causes fanboyism. And therefore it is a good thing the race thread is closed.
