Lotus E21 Renault

Gary Anderson on Front Suspension of E21.

"The steering appears higher in the upright assembly, roughly halfway up the wheel, and the trackrod is separated a bit from that wishbone. That’s quite a complicated system, but Kimi Raikkonen has always complained about the power steering and this geometry change could help that. Moving the wishbone up also creates more room for the front brake duct, which is a very powerful thing because it calms the airflow displaced by the front tyre and prevents it from being sucked under the floor and further disrupting the airflow. This, in turn, can make the difuser work harder."

Seems like an interesting change. I suppose that steering system was co-developed by kimi and the team.

If you asked to put more pepper in your pizza does that mean you co-cooked it?

yea, because your feedback is needed to adjust the satisfactory spicy level of your pizza. It cant be eaten raw without any seasoning.

Ok. Thx.
How did he see the real car ? he's obviously not talking about the presentation car, unless he's myopic.
He did not say a world about the rods (pull rods or push rods) ?

I hope the actual car we will see in testing is quite a lot different, this one is starting to look pedestrian compared to the mclaren and ferrari...
