Absolutely, the burnt paint is of no issue whatsoever. The team unveiled the car the day before and aesthetics were the top priority and the Team would have wanted to minimise the amount of heat resistant black coating to make the car look as good(silver) as possible. The Team will sort it out in no time.
The failure of the wiring loom and the fuel pump was a bit of a disappointment though. I bet Sauber will have some failures due to overheating at the warmer races this year.
