The only reason to not switch helmet manufacturer:
Team sponsored ie Schuberth Ferrari
Driver sponsored: Button until half way through 2010 (it cost him money afaik)

I agree that you CAN, but you SHOULDN'T switch the helmet manufacturer.
He has already presented his helmet for 2013 which is produced by Arai and painted by uffe design. He already has helmet, why he would choose Bell? He was never using Bell helmet. He was using Arai for the whole career except for those 3 years with Ferrari when he was using Schuberth.

The team pay his wages, and if it gains them a tenth because his lid interacts better with the windscreen and airbox/aero whatever, then he will swap. That's what Button did. I agree, you stay loyal to your manufacturer, but you also don't want to lose your seat because of something daft.

Day 1 & 2 they were running the black exhaust exits, yesterday was the shiny metal / incontel ones. Either their back to the day 1 & 2 spec ones or this is an entirely new exhaust.
