This is just because they bolted that exhaust on over the coanda bodywork. The little gap is where the body work splits for the coander exhaust slot.zioture wrote:I'm not convinced you that it discharges mercedes is an old configuration.
You look at the picture
I have a strange pattern with red slot and the material that protects against heat in the gearbox

Now THAT is interesting. Wonder what the gains are with this configuration.Forza wrote:

You cann se this in the picture above, which seems to be a hybrid version of the conventional an coanda version. So they install a flow conditioner for the exhaust which should be allowed as it does not effect the direction of the exhaust gases AFTER they exit the pipes.
this is entertaining.lewishamilton90 wrote:https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid ... =3&theater
Good spot sir! Wings, sprouting cascades, sprouting winglets. I like it a lot.Ferraripilot wrote:By the look of things it's running an obvious amount more rake. Tire deg is not as bad as Ferrari's but it's certainly not all that great either, average degredation is probably the best opinion at this point.
It appears that the winglet attached to the endplate is also running a very small cascade inboard as well now. Sharpening everything up aren't they.
