Haha, I've often had food poisoning too on a saturday morning
Ha,ha, sounds familiar!
In Kimi's case let me rephrase that to (liquid) food intoxication.
Do you feel you can beat the Red Bulls, either to pole position or the race itself?
Fernando Alonso: "I prefer to beat them on Sunday."

1:21:534 from Hamilton, quickest so far at Barcelona, set at the beginning of a 5-lap stint.

yup, according to AMuS. either mediums or softs, if we take a look at the drop-off in times.

wow hamilton did a 1.21.534 on 7-lap run!! he was on the unmarked pirellis which are the medium compound as paul hembery said yesterday!...so either Mercedes is bloody quick [-o< or the others are just playing games! :?

oops...it was just now confirmed that he was on softs!!...still quick though!

Pirelli man said yesterday that the unmarked are the MEDIUMS.

EDIT: From our Sky Insider: 'Just asked Pirelli and Lewis' fastest lap of the winter in unmarked tyres was on SOFT'

Unmarked tires are made in Romania and are hard or medium tires. Paul Hembrey confirmed that yesterday on sky sports f1.

gpupdate twitter feed:

The unmarked tyres Hamilton used for his fastest lap are identical to the Softs in this year's P-Zero range, Pirelli has confirmed

Red bull style exhaust for Williams. 2 days to perfect that's a bit risky.

Spot the odd one. For a team that likes to pretend to be a "pure racing" one Lotus do play a lot of politics. Everyone else was able to correct their line up according to weather but not them. Looks like they starting as they finished last season, shooting themselves in the foot.

Any explanation from their tweeter for morons (their target audience no doubt)?
Do you realise so far Raikkonen has around 100 laps less in the dry than grosjean? So I dont see what your problem is.
Number of laps - irrelevant. It was mostly Jerez, bad weather and early specification.

How about one, I will spell it out for you O - N -E dry day at much more important test circuit Barcelona?
How about zero I will spell it out for you Z - E - R - O test days with a Melbourne-ish specification car?
How about every other team that found it to be a good idea to give one of the two last days to each of their drivers? They must be doing something wrong then. This is one of the obvious ones really, no-brainer. Lotus since the half season ago reeks of politics.

Speaking about shooting themselves in the foot, any doubts about it now? Bunch of idiots.

Hembery on twitter confirms hamilton's lap was on prototype softs. In any case that's a behemoth time. Pole last year was "only" a 1:21.707 - and that was a fuel-underweight MP4-27!

the tires are 0.5 quicker, the weather conditions are good for the engine. But then again it wasn't a real qualy run as he did 5-6 laps. So if you fuel correct this time it could have been a 1:21:1-2.

Tires do seem at least half a second quicker than last year, though... Nevertheless, an improvement for W04, since Nico posted 1:22.882 in Q2 last year, Q3 time was slower...
And they call it a stall. A STALL!
