With just two weeks to go before the 2013 Formula One season gets underway in Melbourne, the final four-day test took place in Barcelona, with two days of wet weather followed by two days of dry running. This enabled the teams to sample the entire range of 2013 Pirelli tyres and finally provided conditions representative to racing.

he was on the unmarked pirellis which are the medium compound as paul hembery said yesterday!...so either Mercedes is bloody quick [-o< or the others are just playing games!

Spot the odd one. For a team that likes to pretend to be a "pure racing" one Lotus do play a lot of politics. Everyone else was able to correct their line up according to weather but not them. Looks like they starting as they finished last season, shooting themselves in the foot.
Any explanation from their tweeter for morons (their target audience no doubt)?

the tires are 0.5 quicker, the weather conditions are good for the engine. But then again it wasn't a real qualy run as he did 5-6 laps. Tires do seem at least half a second quicker than last year, though...
