Wow, Mclaren in deep trouble
Bad trouble indeed.

If this takes more than a couple of races to turn around then this might as well be a write off for Drivers and Constructors Championships.

It seems Alonso is a happy chap:

This will easily been another runaway season for Red Bull. Such a shame. Their advantage is huge at such an early stage.

McLaren will take a while to get up to speed, by the time they do Red Bull will have a healthy head start in the championship.

Mercedes lack development potential, and will likely slip back over the season as they focus on next year's efforts headed up by Paddy Lowe.

Ferrari is probably the only real contender, but they've been stuck in the same position for the last few seasons. They are constantly playing catchup, they don't really seem to be able to bring anything new to the table.

Lotus, the dark horse? The potential was there last season, and they never really realised it. I feel it's going to be the same story this season.

Right now it really does seem as if RedBull is the only shark in the water...
Wow nervous for McLaren I think the top teams might indeed Battle for 2nd and 3rd while RebBull run away with 1st...... :/
The Midfield is where the actio. Will be this race maybe not season but this race with McLaren mixing in with the MidField and the Midfield being so competitive....

Regarding McLaren:
Ferrari Pull rod bad idea maybe-??

Perhaps Button will rise from the crowd and pull out a season like Alonso did in the F2012? :P

Ha or maybe Button and Perez pull the stunt Sauber did and finish the Race way higher up on the grid then they start the race with?? Like Koba and Sergio 2012

Or both (pull a Sergio 2012) and do a one stop strategy and surprise us all with something-!!

Kers problem for Massa in FP2
Pat Fry:
This morning we worked on the evaluation of different aerodynamic configurations and set-up, and in the afternoon we are dedicated mainly to the comparison between the two types of compound, a decisive factor for the rest of the weekend.

What emerged was a particularly marked decline, but it was within our expectations and those of Pirelli. With both drivers have completed their programs of work scheduled for today, even though we had a faulty KERS on the car of Felipe during his run with the Supersoft in the second free practice session.

Now it is necessary to carefully analyze the data collected, in particular as regards the longer series of turns. We expect a lot of work and a long evening to prepare in the best way to qualifying tomorrow.
Fernando Alonso:

Overall it was a very productive Friday, we did a lot of laps and completed the first major analysis of the performance of the two compounds brought by Pirelli for this race.

This is also thanks to particularly favorable weather conditions, with sunshine and summer temperatures. From tomorrow, however, there is a completely different climate, with wind, rain and a significant drop in temperatures that could affect the race on Sunday. I do not expect big surprises here, we knew not to be the fastest and we confirmed it today. The car responded well but we know that there is still much to do if we want to fight with the best
Felipe Massa:

Two sessions were positive from all points of view, even though we are aware that we still have a lot of work both in this weekend for the season ahead. In the second session when I came out Supersoft something did not work properly with the KERS and this made me lose time, denying the possibility of a better ride.

I was not surprised by the performance recorded by the opponents, I was expecting a Red Bull competitive right from the start
This is a lot more positive compared to last year, very good!

I think that with the way that the McLaren eats its tyres one stopping will be nigh impossible this season.
