Ferrari F138

A place to discuss the characteristics of the cars in Formula One, both current as well as historical. Laptimes, driver worshipping and team chatter do not belong here.

I wonder how much their Tire-guru has helped them along the way.
I can´t remember a time where Ferrari had massive problems with their tires since he showed up.
It always seem to work either very well or just well in any form of conditions.

Given the performance of the car to date I don't think that's likely

Or simply that the flow over the rear wing is reasonably stable.
In turn that would indicate its design isn't that aggressive. Whether that is a positive or a negative is - as always - a question of the entire package.

I personally only post pictures of new or interesting parts and maybe some rare angles.

I think the constant pics of cars just driving in a straight line is getting out of hand.

Its the Ferrari 2013 Car thread. My pictures help us explore the features of the car.

Anyways, I was just trying to contribute.

I quite like the regular deluge of photos. It means I don't have to look for them, which is massive for someone as dilatory as me. It also gives us the best chance to see something new. (Plus, my laptop has an awesome feature which allows me to quickly "scroll" through items that don't particularly interest me.)

In this image I think you can see the vortex being generated in front of the rear tyre: http://www.f1fanatic.co.uk/wp-content/u ... 2013-7.jpg

I suggest you take a look at the rear end and note how tight the rear end is, it is so much tighter compared to the others.
