Says here that Lotus also have the "FRIC" system. Could it be with Kimi's smooth turn in along with combination of this system is what is giving him the advantage over Grosjean in qualifying and overall pace.

Makes sense why their car bottoms out so much compared to other, even in low fuel and heavy fuel

this system helped everyone.......

And kimi is more agressive on cornering compare to romain.

We'll be upgrading Romain to the latest spec exhaust and related bodywork as run by Kimi in Malaysia. We also have a few small tweaks to the front wing, rear wind endplates and sidepod vanes. One of the benefits gained from the new exhaust package is an increase in rear downforce through corners where the ratio of exhaust speed to car speed is high, which tend to be the lower speed corners. This is a good step forward which we hope will aid us in protecting the tyres at this kind of circuit.

Lotus presented at least 7 different rear wing and 4 front wing specs so far ! Lotus ( and former Renault) used to follow an agressive development program for wings but this season surpassed my expectations by far

FWIW Ross Brawn said he didn't think any team on the grid ran traditional systems any more (maybe Caterham?)

Yes interconnected suspension have been used since 2009 I think, now most of the teams should have them

I read somewhere that suspension was cnnected left to right but not rear to front. So Allen confirms it.

There is only one version. Lotus used two different rounded monkey seat though.

How do you know there is only one version ? If anything Lotus should have two since they have worked on it the longet.

Sure the low pipe isnt there on one and that might suggest its not the full version but then again why would they run a system that obv then wouldnt work if you need the low pipe?
