Your line on it being a challenge and not a championship is null and void by the kvrc website im afraid nick, to quote:
What you gain...a fun CHAMPIONSHIP
Just noticed that it is actually 39 teams registered (as far as we know, website lt updated 26th march)
As for workload, have you not read the suggestion I gave about us running one or two of the tests ourselves and then sending data in along with the car for final test(s) and result calculation?
Also, why limit yourself to just the two of you, why not bring others on board to help?
You say that neither of you have the time to run more races and that there isnt enough free CPU time to do the calculations...surely if the number of cars was a lot lower then you would have the time on both fronts? With few teams you could of taken time away from the cloud computing and run a test each between you and Julien every night when you go to bed and your pc is sat doing nothing, thats how I run my personal tests, set it off when i go to bed and then get results when i get up.
Once again, i am not actually trying to pull this apart or bitch and slate the competition, sorry, challenge, i am just trying to look at things another way much in the way of constructive criticism. Im pleased that you and Julien got this off the ground, especially so quickly after the fall out from FS. I believe that everything myself and astra have said has been out of desire to see this become a success that has a future and isnt just a flash in the pan.
