Lotus E21 Renault

A place to discuss the characteristics of the cars in Formula One, both current as well as historical. Laptimes, driver worshipping and team chatter do not belong here.

Beam wing splitted in a half?

It's been a long time since we drove last time, but it has also been a short time at the same time

Nice. It has a new floor too. (yellow arrows)
Red arrow shows the thin wing they placed between the RW's edplates

The F60 had a similar winglet, but placed higher than the beam wing.

@Blackout, good catch on the new floor

There are also new cooling outlets around driver's head

I wasn't able to spot diffrences around rear brake drums, the thing that Allison anounced before the GP

Schame there are so little photos available

Glad somebody caught that. The packaging and attention to detail from team to team is astonishing.

Interesting how little electronic equipment lotus have underneath their sidepods compared to ferrari. Where are they storing the rest of it?

I guess under the driver's seat (KERS) and around the splitter area, which would explain the ducting and misterious pipe
