The slots in the main plane are nothing more than creating a 3 plane wing in the 'unregulated' outer 20cm. They have been doing that on and off since 2011, and other teams applied that loophole too. Red Bull and LRGP did, and Red Bull and merc apply this loophole to the beamwing.

Perhaps. But, this is a lot different than the tiny slots used before.

Also there are no slots at the rear of the wing, that was my initial thought as well, that its just a different take on that loophole, but as it turns out its not

The wheels doesn't actually turn right when he tries, so he just straight forward into the barriers, pretty scary

nosecones were always hollow i think...

I think the top hollow section is due to the vanity panel. The bottom half is the crash structure and is probably optimised to reduce weight but still pass FIA crash test.
