Ah, okey. I didn't say when they were complaining, just that they were at some point.

What happened was not at Suzuka but rather Silverstone 2011. Red Bull after FP1 lobbied the FIA to reduce the pit speed limit to 60kph rather than 100kph. Given that they were (as world constructors' champions) at the very tail end of the pits, what happened was that when they left the pit box, they would hit the pit exit line BEFORE their car hit 100kph - and as such they were disadvantaged by that speed handicap all the way into Turn 3 (The Loop, or Village or whatever it's called - it's the first, right hand hairpin in the circuit layout)

This would mean that the pit lane time loss of any car exiting that lead pit box would be greater than that of the other teams

I thought the constructors champions were the first pit box, not the last?

Constructor's champions can choose between first or last depending on the advantage at each track I think.

Redbull had changed their location in 2012 because the downward slope at the end of the pit lane meant that they were not visible (after all sport is run on sponsorship visibility in race)to the fans in the grandstand. May be this year they will be the first team in the pit lane.

Also the pit-limiter issue was discussed for both Silverstone and Suzuka circuits in 2011 season.

Same here I switched on my TV for P1 and F1 was no were to be seen then I recalled the damn 4 3-week breaks this season. Don't worry watching Le Mans straight 24hrs is itself a challenge \:D/

Sunday..... We are less then 7 days away from a Fan Favorite race. :) I predict McLaren continue to bring upgrades that do too little and everyone else gets further away from them with great updates :) everyone updates everything this GP even their side view mirrors'! Im soo happy for this GP.

Fans have all kinds of favorites. The Brazilians will say Interlagos is the fan favorite.

(note he said "a" fan favorite)

So a dry weekend with temperatures at around 15ºC. Pole for Merc maybe?

At Silverstone they cocked up with the pitlane, so the pit box for the constructors Champions is either in the middle, or at the best place for the crowd to view the action of the top teams (I think)

Well, the BBC says Friday is going to be dry but not warm. Saturday and Sunday forecasts are unreliable. Weather forecasts in the UK in the last week have been very unreliable actually - we were supposed to see a lot of rain over the weekend, and yet we just had a few scattered showers in between relatively warm sunshine. Therefore, nothing to report, carry on.

I mentioned earlier how this weekend's weather is so dependent on what happens a few days before. If it rains Wed and Thur, then it should be relatively dry for the weekend, with a few scattered showers Saturday and Sunday.
