the real story behind pirelli...
Right, the exact same kerb that's been there for years has magically changed into an F1 tyre cutter? And magically also doesn't cut any tyres in any of the support races.Just_a_fan wrote:Kerb on the inside of T4 just shown to be very sharp at the height that the tyres appear to be failing. So it's not exactly Pirelli's fault. But then that wouldn't fit in with various peoples' ideas about Pirelli.
Hard to decide man of the race today, my proposals:Racer X wrote:

Haha no but on a serius note. Why did they suck so much I mean 5 tires (or was it just 4)
Plus Sergio lost his in FP3! Why Pireli the British GP was ruined.
HAMILTON what a race from pole to last and from last to 4th!
Rosberg and Hamilton did put in quite a good performance for a car that has no race paceHuntresa wrote:I dont understand, merc has no race paceSectorOne wrote:Well it´s a great problem to haveringo wrote:It flies on light fuel and good tyres...
Otherwise it's a frustrating car to watch.
Better then barely hitting Top 10´s then having the same race-issues
It does not look very particular but for some reason it´s many times comfortably faster then a Red Bull.
The improvements made from last year is simply staggering.
In all fairness, this was a very cool race. While my hope that they've fixed the tyres issues is growing, I won't truly believe it until they can do that at a hot race, with the softs on.wesley123 wrote:Rosberg and Hamilton did put in quite a good performance for a car that has no race pace

Indeed, without the tyres it certainly would have been a Merc 1-2.SiLo wrote:Working today so missed the race, can't wait to watch it later on!
Such a shame for Hamilton, seems he easily had the pace on everyone today to take the win, Mercedes 1+2 would have been fun to watch, and well deserved for the team.
19°C air, 30°C track is about as cold as an F1 race gets.PhillipM wrote:It wasn't exactly freezing...beelsebob wrote:In all fairness, this was a very cool race.
