That'd be brutal for Merc to take front row and then drop into the shark pool. Hope for Hamilton's sake that does not happen. I don't know of a driver who hates going backward more than that guy. Merc update pace is truly amazing. Car looks fantastic.

Except if you're doing side by side comparisons between the two cars and testing against a known program. Red Bull's modus operandi has been to test with stint 2 fuel, Merc tends to brim the tank. They'll all do various runs with various loads but their long run simulations have tended to follow that trend.

Not looking good for Ferrari again. They both only did an instalation lap.

EDIT: 25min into the session and Alonso goes out.

Looks like Ferrari found some pace over night. Impressive laps from Vettel. Both even faster than 2011 pole... Hulk also looks good. Hope he's able to make it into Q3.
