Is it DRD + New slim rear bodywork or DRD + Old rear bodywork?

It looks like old.

Team add a metal connection between the outlet of the pipe and the rear wing to stabilize the pipe and air flow?

And I wonder why they placed that electronic box there and what is it for... the R31 had the same in front of its bulkhead, but it wasnt there on the E21 before...

It might be only for testing :?:

By the logo id say yes, but it should have another shape and a third connector ( http://www.mclarenelectronics.com/Produ ... t/TAG-310B )

Maybe an additional box for collecting testing-data?

edit: could be this one:

Looks like the small metal part which now connects DRD pipe and rear wing is for quick test adjusting. We can see at the top of the DRD pipe there are two metal pieces. I think they are moving it up or down in order to achieve the best result. They don't know exactly how long/high that tube has to go.

Like Mugello 2012 and AbuDhabi 2012, Lotus didnt test any new visible aero part, according to the available pics.

After verification, the monkey seat I posted above is not really new. It was tested in Germany (the one the right is the newer version).
I think they ran two different front wings in these YDT. aero differences are not visible from this angle but these wings have their ''peace one day'' logo glued on a different place...
They also ran the old front wheel/brake fairing today. maybe the old one suits the 'new' tires -which basically are 2012 tires that deform differently under stress- better.
So nothing really new.
