Because MrLauda would secure them a seat on the FOM board, which he did, and MrWolff was the best available replacement for MrHaug for a multitude of reasons. Marcush, I think you're succumbing to confirmation bias. There are multitudes of reasons to bring these guys on, but you're only cherry picking the ones that suit your theory, while pretending the others don't exist.
I agree with you that we'll see some saber rattling from Daimler once Bernie's charges fully go through, but this will ultimately result in Bernie's removal, not Daimler's. So, what if Bernie is stubborn? He's still accountable for his actions. Really consider it...
