Lewis Hamilton has won his first Grand Prix of the season thanks to a solid three stop strategy. Kimi Raikkonen fended off a hard challenge from Vettel to finish third while Vettel does another great job for the championship.

Someone (Hamilton?) was disqualified a while back because he had insufficient fuel at the end. Was that during the refueling days?
That rule only applies after qualifying.
Slightly incorrect.
You still need to have 1l fuel sample, but you don't need to bring your car back on it's own power.

Vettel is pure racing at this point in his career. The RB is certainly not the best at this stage and considering the whole of Sebs race third was a superb result.
I think this is rather questionable. merc has greatly improved with tyres but Today's victory is an hamilton creature thanks to two fantastic overtakes.
good race for vettel but nothing special, if they didn't all that mess saturday webber could have finished ahead him

Lewis with Kimi second were the drivers of the day for me.

Fantastic result for Merc-Hamilton, I feel sorry for Grosjean but it was his fault on Button and passing on the outside of turn 4 . Vettel wasn't much better on the tyre deg than Hamilton and lower top end means its 3 frustrating race for him (2010,2012 & 2013) having the faster car yet not overtaking . Maybe the track needs some work to create a bit more overtaking spots (its not as bad as Monaco).
What happened to Ferrari? It was eating its tyres even when FA kept out of the slip-stream, its a great drive to finish 5th with that car . Had Button qualified a bit better he could have challenged FA.

it was engine temperature not kers.
It was evident that to cool down he shifted at 17-17.5
The teams said differently. They said on the radio that all temps were too high and that KERS specifically was overheated.

Fantastic racing by Hamilton. He was controllably agressive when needed to, getting rid of Button and twice Webber on the moments when they could possibly ruin his race.
Vettel drove a reasonable race, except at the end. The spat out over the team radio is forgiveable, just some words in the heat of the moment, but he practically ruined his own chances to overtake Raikkonen by constantly locking up his tyres, flat spotting, sliding and just overall loosing his nerve. That is something he still has to learn: overtaking in difficult situations.
Gutted for Grosjean. That penalty wasn't justified in my view.
Also gutted for Rosberg. Massa ruined his race to begin with, and it's likely because of that accident, Rosberg's engine overheated by constantly having to run behind other cars.
Conlusions from the race:
-Hamilton briliantly won. credit where credit is due.
-raikonen very good drive to keep vettel behind
-not a particulary good/avarage performance by vettel today
-solid first stint by webber puts him 4th place
-alonso is out of this champinship with this car. Not only will he fall behind vettel, but raikonnen and lewis as well

On LiveTiming it was clear he was faster doing that then when he didn't. There's not much you can do when you're driving an overheating car with a lack of top speed. Vettel's best chance was always going to be on the rundown to T4.

You are pretty alone there. Grosjean has the situational awareness of a dead raccoon. He gave no space to Button in a situation where there was no point in pushing someone off the track.

Curious decision by Red Bull to NOT put Vettel out on softs with just 11 laps to go. Also curious that Vettel could not pass Raikonnen at the end, when the Lotus tires were 20 LAPS older.
