Besides, Rosberg is also pretty handy around this track and he's been more comfortable than Lewis in the supersoft tyres this season.
When exactly had vettel had an off day this year to an extent hamilton is having for the last 2 races?

You mean narain crashing into him. You mean spain where both red bulls had faulty front wings loosing front DF and then loosing more time for a change.

You mean the start of a season when he led the championship 4 races in?

Anyone else here in the states watch qualifying nbcsports online? I have the live extra app and it never worked for me. Ended up missing q1 and watched the rest on Spanish sport station. I have to say a tad bit more enthusiasm than NBC crew, just wish I understood Spanish.

Another disappointing qualifying by Hamilton...looked absolutely brilliant sometimes but not when it counted this time, quite unlike Hamilton i have to say.
But i guess that´s the story of his life, so much talent yet it never really materializes in F1 like we see with guys like Vettel, Alonso etc.

Gutierrez, i think people just might have taken some notes today... keep doing that and you´ll have a good future in F1.
Relax, dude. Everyone has an off-day. Vettel had some off days as well this season in qualifying, so did Alonso.

If you compare Vettel and Hamilton, Hamilton´s career in F1 has been an "off-day"

07 - could have won it but with alonso in the team and that whole spectacle it hurt them both and Kimi prevailed.
08 - Finally gets a title but with what exactly? Probably the most controversial or F´d up situation you can have to win a world championship being champion from the start of the last corner to the finish line. You can´t even write that sort of thing.
09 - dog
10 - dog
11 - mental breakdown
12 - team breakdown
13 - uncharacteristic off days we never have seen before really. Perhaps it´s the car who knows but it´s a bit odd.

There´s always something whether it´s himself or car or team. The only time i´d say everything has gone smooth like Vettel was his first half season he did in F1. Then all that came crashing down.

He will probably go down as a guy with incredible potential but never really could put stuff in black and white (i.e. titles)
All that´s missing is that Mercedes next year is a dog and that´s 3 years wasted.

Obviously compared to guys in the midfield he can´t complain of course but just compared to Schumi, Vettel, Alonso they have all had a smooth sailing in every area at one point in their career, Hamilton have not really.

This looks like the evil fan-ying-yang has returned...Any mod want to slay the ying yang chromosome that is appearing in this thread?

Back on topic, for me I feel as if this race can / will be decided on the first lap going into T1. It would be nice to see a change of "the procession" but I remain pessimistic about this race unfortunately =/
If someone said to me that you can have three wishes, my first would have been to get into racing, my second to be in Formula 1, my third to drive for Ferrari.

What about Vettel not trying Q3 in China this year?

What about Vettel not getting pole in Germany, Hungary and Spa?

150kg + 642kg = 792 kg, until the cars make it to half distance ss tires won't last more than 10 laps or so, Grosjean could push Vettel if he gets past Rosberg. Vettel is just going to run away with it all.

sometimes i feel That Fry is a stupid , he claims http://www.gptoday.com/full_story/view/ ... roved_car/

i cnt see it, all analysts , tv pundits cant see it but he keeps claiming similar kind of things race after race. i cnt remember but someone posted a redbull's pic , depicting airflow over diffuser and it looked pretty clean compare to what i have been seeing in context of ferrari. as someone pointed out its lack of creativity , factory is doing great job in producing parts , if people like fry dnt have balls to drive development in a direction and goes for iterations of same thing again and again this will happen. its utter bullshit , this guy ws a jerk in mclaren and ferrari shudnt hjave hired him at the very first place (blame stefano).

I suspect OOOP is the quickest way - but more people will opt for a 2-stop instead

Yes. The 3-stop means you need to use pace to make up the extra pitstop - which you can't do in a safety car

Are you randomly allergic to vowels or something?

Also the car can be improved but still no better against an also improving competition.
