Brilliant job by Kvyat, getting to within 2 tenths of Ricciardo on a track he's never driven and a car he has only a few laps mileage in...

RB took the wrong driver..

The standings in FP1 were so mixed up it's as though we are in 2014 already

Ferrari/Mclaren/Sauber/Williams in the top 4, they are the 4 teams who have struggled for large periods of the year :wtf:

Little chance of things staying that way in FP2 though

Jenson Button will get a 3 place grid penalty for passing Kvyat under red flag in FP1.

Huh, How can you regulate passing under red flags in a practice? "well he was going 5.0kph and you went at the dangerous 6.5kph to overtake!"

Alonso Fastest in Sector 1

Anthony Davidson mentioned the Ferrari F138 has got the best balance he's ever seen this season, I wonder what the setup changes were?
If someone said to me that you can have three wishes, my first would have been to get into racing, my second to be in Formula 1, my third to drive for Ferrari.

You can really hear RBR blowing under breaking in turn 1. No wonder they have been so much better since the break.

Hamilton seems to be struggling to keep up with Nico again...

Or was it just a mistake in S1?

Nico is faster, but he is locking up all over the place.

Huh?? Isn't passing after a red flag like passing after the checkered flag? What's wrong with that? Nobody's racing.

Judging by the practice times i'm glad i'm missing this one. Hoping next years formula will bring back some real racing.
