I'm slightly inclined to agree with you on that, I just focus on everyone other than car #Finger.
If someone said to me that you can have three wishes, my first would have been to get into racing, my second to be in Formula 1, my third to drive for Ferrari.

what position did he go up to? 8th? 1st? my point is there is no running order in a practice and he's not messing up the dummy grid that they would go to in a race.

If Button (hypothetically) is at corner......X, and on his own would come back to the pits in....35 seconds, thats ok, but if he is at corner X with another car, overtakes slow as hell and comes back even slower in 50 seconds, he gets penalised!

it's not about what's the opinion on a penalty for passing during a red flag, the rules are clear and the rules should be followed. button breached a clear rule, and the result is a penalty.

The above belongs to a discussion regarding what exactly are the rules during a redflag situation and if perhaps there are unnecesary rules.
he may not mess up any grid, but he doesn't gain anything from overtaking either way, so why overtake? if you allow overtaking during red flag, the result could potentially be dangerous if you get drivers that have the desire to be in the pit before others, perhaps during qualy for example. and the drivers may or may not know why there is a red flag. the rules are clear and simple.
that's all, nothing more nothing less

I think we have to accept that Lewis won't shine in this car during the last two races. He is struggling with the brakes all season long.

I believe in most forms of racing the red flag indicates dangerous conditions that have caused the flag to be thrown.
At this point no driver should be passing another moving vehicle to ensure everyones safety.

I was at the track. The helo turned back due to radio difficulties, COTA red flagged the track when it didn't show.

Before the weekend, I thought Heikki was set for 5-10 points over the two races, now I think he could score that in each round. =D>

Why did they start if it hadn't arrived?

They didn't know that.

And still has beaten Rosberg in Qualifying and has more points.
Things aren´t that bad when you look at the season as a whole.

He´s just had a bit of a slump with car breaking, bad luck, and some poor racing while Rosberg has woken up just recently.
As long as the car don´t break and he´s ahead or right behind Rosberg it should be a fairly good race with decent points for Mercedes as a whole.

The good thing is that both are right up there.

Rosberg seems to have honed in on the setup as well unlike Hamilton.
This afternoon we had a very good session. The car felt like it was on rails and I was very happy with the balance.
It was a pretty straightforward day although we still have some work to do to nail the set-up because it's not quite there yet.
