Just like Mclaren last year?

As for Rosberg, he's clearly a very good racing driver, just like Webber & Button.

Actually no, far from it.
I doubt Mercedes will build a car that is mysteriously off pace when it rains, messes up every pit stop they can, has a driver that is mysteriously off pace for 50% of the season, stupendous reliability issues etc.

I´d rank Rosberg way higher then Webber and Button.
We all like to talk about the big four but i think Rosberg has proven time and time again he should be mentioned in these conversations.

Off the wet pace like a podium in Malaysia and the win in Brazil? :wtf: . McLaren had as many mechanical failures as RB last season and the fastest car yet finished 100 points down. C'est la vie.

As for Rosberg, in my opinion he's in the group with Webber, Button, Hamilton and a couple of others who if given the equipment could challenge for a WDC.

I would say Kimi & Alonso is the strongest team on the grid for next year. If Alonso had an equal this year, Ferrari would still be in with a chance at the constructors.

Hamilton's car is all over the place, missing every apex. They've changed the setup and it's still terrible, you can see it visually.

Phew. P3 is good considering the early problems in FP3.

Guess Nico didn't get a proper lap together.

Ferrari looks to have dropped the ball. They are not even in the top 10 (in FP3).
Surprisingly, McLarens are doing well.
Lewis is definitely fond of this track. I think he can challenge Vettel. As a Vettel fan, I encourage this challenge. Like a UFC champion, he needs to be put in the octagon and defeat challengers time after time to keep his belt. I want to see Vettel being challenged.

Well, I think that won't happen. P3 would be a good result for Lewis, we aren't even thinking about a win or challenging Vettel.

Can the car hold it together?
it still looks a bit ragged.
Rosberg maybe didn't have the overall pace in the last session, but he had the balance very early out. Which means he can have more stable and predictable stints.
I hope for a barn stormer from Hamilton, but he needs to not try to overtake Vettel in the first turn then lose out. He needs to settle down, then open the flood gates after the fifth lap or so.
For Sure!!

BBC Radio 5 live sports extra
Pastor Maldonado after being asked by Jennie Gow if his Williams team are prioritising their work on team-mate Bottas' car: "I don't know and I don't care to be honest. I am focusing on next season. It's over."
Maldonado then claims on Sky: "someone is playing around with the car, with the tyre pressures & temperatures. One more race to go. Great".

I hope Maldonado doesn't get a seat next year, Getting thrashed by Bottas should go a way to doing it. He has spent more time off the track than on it this year and then says he's done more for the team and then says the team are sabotaging him. The only reason he hasn't crashed into anyone is that he has never been in a position to do. Ridiculous comments and good riddance.
