That video is pieced together from this clip from Bild and some other accident footage.

That seems to be the case. Good work Pup. Sorry they tricked me into posting it. I'll add that it is apparently a fake.
Formula One's fundamental ethos is about success coming to those with the most ingenious engineering and best .............................. organization, not to those with the biggest budget. (Dave Richards)

You'll have to explain the right way of interpreting that.
There might be a variety of interpretations of the above xpression course, but mine would be that even after escaping danger
or devil for 20-odd years, it or he might finally catch up with you in an unexpected way. Possibly when you feel the most safe.

But I don't know, very sad it is anyway.

The xpression was minted by James M Cain as The Postman Always Rings Twice in a novel that made three movies later on.

“Please support our shared fight with Michael. It is important to me that you take the pressure off the doctors and the hospital so they can do their work,” Corinna Schumacher said in a written statement addressed “to the media” on Tuesday, released by Kehm.

“Please have faith in their statements and leave the hospital. Please also leave our family in peace.”

[...]

“I can confirm Michael's condition can be considered stable,” Kehm’s statement on Monday read. “I can't confirm to have stated his life is out of danger.”

Police press conference:
  • Haven't received bystander video, dubious it exists
  • Investigation is standard for a serious accident and not specific to this case
  • Confirms scene of accident as being off-piste between the 2 runs, within 3-6m of the piste
  • Skiis touch rock, he falls forward, hits another rock with his head, is unconscious
  • Michael's GoPro footage confirms the above, and is very 'legible' - is with ski expert for analysis
Now he's taking questions, which will all be idiotic I'd imagine.

edit: Surly French official vs world's media = comedy gold.

Via Adam Cooper:
French authorities held a press conference in Albertville this morning in order to give more details of their investigation into Michael Schumacher's accident.

Although relatively little emerged, prosecutor Patrick Quincy did clarify a few points.

He confirmed that a video from Schumacher's GoPro helmet camera has played a big part in the investigation. He said it was "perfectly clear," and had been used to help with reconstructing the accident. Michael was 8m off the piste when he struck a rock.

Quincy added that the video lasted two minutes and that there was no sign of Michael stopping to help anyone who had fallen over.

There has been no sign of a video reportedly taken by a bystander and showing the accident in the background, and Quincy said he doubted that it existed.

It was also confirmed that Michael's skis were in "perfect condition," but had been damaged by contact with the rock.

Quincy stressed that the marking of the piste was a key part of the investigation, and added that it was too early to say whether there was an fault on the part of the resort.

It's from "Kart das Estrelas 2014" a Kart race that happens every year in Brazil including drivers from various international categories and Brazilian Stock car racers, Schumacher himself took part a few times (i know he won at least once).

Massa has is using this helmet with a homage to MS.
Also a TV star named Caio Castro, has a helmet inspired in Michael's design.

It's been over two weeks now. Are they still holding him in induced coma ? That can't be too good, can it :(

A friend of mine`s son suffered a head injury 2 years back, when a heavy steel, kids jungle gym toppled over and landed on his head. The child was in an induced coma for just over 10 days whilst the doctors tried everything to relieve the swelling, even removing part his skull.During that time there were positive signs but ultimately and sadly the child never recovered and eventually passed away.

Im not saying that Schumacher will not recover but everything I have read about his injuries and all the feedback that has been reported is just so similar to what we as a group experienced during those 10 days , that I cannot find any reason to be hopefull for a recovery.
Generally I don't care about what people say. I have to be clear with myself. When everything goes well, people celebrate you, when you make mistakes people criticize you.

It's all reminiscent of Liam Neeson's wife, Natasha Richardson, had it happened to me I would have turned to the bottle.

European Ironman champion Camilla Pedersen crashed and hit her head while bike training and spent 19 day in induced coma in September last year, she is back to training now

Richard Hammond (Top Gear) and Daniel Albrecht (skiing) are other examples for good recoveries after a coma.
