I understand the desire to do this, but it's behind the paywall for a reason (to get people to subscribe!). If their articles are cut and pasted, it is likely that they will complain and have it taken down - given that we know Autosport contributors post here (not least Scarbs!) it's not as though this is some backwater of the internet where it won't get noticed.

I imagine what he has to say in the article isn't much different to what he said here...

still notice on how much more they have under cut the side pods, and appears to some kind of cooling vent on the bottom of the side pods a mesh of sorts

Matt morris influence on this car as sidepods on Sauber were tightly packaged! Look's nice

I can't tell whether it's a reflection or whether they've retained the very slight lip along the top edge of the sidepods...

Looks to be present on both sides, which would seem to reduce the chances of it being a reflection...
Favourite driver: Lando Norris
Favourite team: McLaren

Turned down the chance to meet Vettel at Silverstone in 2007. He was a test driver at the time and I didn't think it was worth queuing!! 🤦🏻‍♂️

On their website, on 3D model there aren't any slots on top of the sidepods... Although, there is a certain reflection there as well and looking at side view it seems that those surfaces are almost flat. Mind you, 3D model has some flow conditioners that the car presented doesn't have, pretty much like last year - they are showing some stuff that will probably be tested...
And they call it a stall. A STALL!

It's not slots I'm meaning.

I'm meaning that the outer top edge of the sidepods look slightly raised, like a very slight version of the U pod. The same sort of thing that Mercedes ran last year and I seem to remember McLaren also introducing aroudn mid-season.

If you go to the video at about 2:50 look's like a reflection mate, plus in the 3d render there is nothing to suggest what your suggesting.

Also I put here a conservation on twitter of Craig with another person where they are discussing the two car:
Craig Scarborough ‏@ScarbsF1 6h
While the front wing itself is worrying simple #F14-T pic.twitter.com/eZAjwTXRPv
Adrian ‏@adrianpantosin 4h
@ScarbsF1 agree with that, most of the car seems very simple compared with McLaren's extricate detailing.
Craig Scarborough ‏@ScarbsF1 4h
@adrianpantosin I agree

Craig Scarbourough says that the Mclaren is a much more refined and complicated car than the Ferrari. He says that Ferrari took a conservative aproach to their 2014 car design, but that he is equally impressed by their side pods and cooling elements. But apart of that he says that F14T is a much simpler at the rear end of the car, and at the front end of the car, he specially says that the solutions had at the rear are very complex and he will be surprised if someone will realise something like Mclaren. At the fron end, the nose (where he hays that Mclarne worked very hard for this efficient nose), the first variant of the fron wing, using the brakes for aero in avery inovative way is more advanced that what Ferrari has realised.

And a cooling pipe/chimney on the edge of the sidepod's top just like the drawings we saw in the videos suggested

I wonder how much stability when picking the car up in the front during pit stops is lost with a nose like that.
But maybe it´s not a problem when you have two guys on either end holding it.
