The person who made this was too lazy to color the rear wing?? And year orange/black would be cool. But I would rather have the wings black.

Yeah, paint both front and rear wings in orange or black and upload it in high res, so I can use it as my screensaver!

Steering arms in the lower wishbone integrated. I think last time we see that was Brawm GP 2009. Rear wishbones reach far back. Is that a aerodynamik reason or for weight saving?

Yes, I was surprised that they decided not to integrate the rear wishbone with the driveshaft like last year. Scarbs said it was to get the arms back close to the diffuser. Maybe.

There was that Italian press piece about McLaren having an extreme rear suspension to test in Jerez - 'cascading' tie rods and such. If this is it, I don't see it. More likely this is the fallback option, if the extreme version exists at all. Could also be the reporter had his wires crossed, and last year's was the extreme version (with the integrated wishbones), and this year they wanted to go more conservative, since rear tire wear will be a big issue. I can see them wanting as stable platform with as broad a setup window as possible - both to deal with the tire issue, and as a natural reaction to last year's setup woes.

Time will tell.

I think its covered up in the picture. I doubt they will race with 2 giant boxes on the rear suspension. Pretty sure its just to cover up the tricky bits.

They were running the upper wishbone off the brake ducts already last year, so that would be nothing new.

No Mclaren and Renault did the same in 2010...and last year caterham did that.

Having seen the RB10, I hope McLaren follow suit and paint the nose protrusion black... Would greatly improve the look of the car in my opinion.

Ah thanks I was wondering if they were even there. I don't use twitter or facebook so I'm a bit out of the loop!

On a technical note in case I get my post deleted again, I think even though McLaren's and all wang nosed cars look terrible, McLaren's wang seems to look more optimal than the rest. It's amazing how they managed to get such a shape to pass the crash test. It looks like it just completely ignores the air and may as well not be there. Lowest drag coefficient of the wangs?
