I applaud them though, they must have felt this was the best solution and they went with it regardless of how it looks. I don't think many other teams would have done that.

I think that nose could work very well too.

For the avoidance of doubt, here are some examples:

Is this nose not going to create lift?

Maybe it will create some lift but the idea is that this solution helps the rear aerodynamic (downforce).

Since the beam wing was banned and the RW got smaller the teams are struggling with the rear downforce

Still as it's on the car it must work for them.. So how come no-one else on the pitlane is making the front of the their cars look like this?
