P.S: I listened now to a couple of videos made by the same guy (thanks!) and every car has the same high pitched, hissing sound which surly comes from the turbine which is spinning at a 100000 rpm towards the end of that straight. Lots of difference in the throttle applications. As said before, different programs and maps.
It would be difficult to gauge how much they're pushing just by the turbo sounds alone. The turbines would be spinning near their max RPMs as long as throttle is applied (unlike a supercharger which is RPM dependent). Excess boost will be released by the wastegate anyway. If they didn't spin near max RPM under throttle then something isn't right IMO.
The lap times are truly irrelevant at this stage in trying to determine performance. At least the W05 seems reliable so far.
How do the Flow-Vis patterns look to the aero guys here?
