I think with "Heat Sources" they mean Headers.....soo its a Red Bull Problem.
Newey and Horner are already on their Way back to Milton Keynes according to AMuS.

I would hope so. This is not going to be a simple problem to fix. If the car could only make a few laps around a chilly Jerez before overheating, I'd hate to see it at Bahrain.Thunders wrote:I think with "Heat Sources" they mean Headers.....soo its a Red Bull Problem.

Yeah i know but i thought proper unreliable cars that made ppl lose championships like a few Mclarens he built.f1316 wrote:2011 car had a bunch of KERS issues, it's just that they were mainly on Webber's car; and let's not forget the failures at the start of 2010.
Agreed....but the white coloration....not sure if it's steam or burned paint?RZS10 wrote:it looks burned doesn't it? right in front of the rear wheel
The engines typically have to be pre-heated before they can even be started. Once it's running I would imagine it gets up to "operating temperature" pretty quickly. The problem has been suggested to be the ERS and batteries being too close to heat sources, and immediately over heating.Mandrake wrote:Does anyone of you know what the heat development is like in such a car? Is it gradually increasing to a maximum temp or is it immediately at max temp due to the preheating of all the engine components?
Even with Newey going for more extreme solutions, it's almost impossible that the car overheats in a single installation lap.....if it does, then Renault seem to have massively more cooling need than any of the other engine units.
What? Meaning they can´t paint one in the livery, as long it is symmetric to de longitdinal axis of the car? Men, that is not regulation, that's tyrany! But you may tell our enemies that they may take our lives, but they'll never take... OUR FREEDOM!richard_leeds wrote:
As far as I am aware the RB10 does not have a red flag, it would fail the rules about secure bodywork!
Just on webber's car? I don't think so:f1316 wrote:2011 car had a bunch of KERS issues, it's just that they were mainly on Webber's car
Doesn't want to get too close, does he!Owen.C93 wrote:Small hole in the sidepod. Might have been cut out.
