I thought cars were only allowed to carry 100KG of fuel MAX? If they are still holding out on the final 2000RPMs of the engine then they can probably go that distance on a full tank.turbof1 wrote:The tank will always be bigger then 100KG capacity guys... . The number has to fit on the chassis and not on the detachable nose cone because if the driver has to come into the pits to change the front wing due to let's say a "Maldonado" for example, they need to have one that doesn't have his teammates number. Quite certain this a similar to what BAR did a few years back, although they were using it for ballast and running the car underweight.
